Who we are

Why we built this, and what we believe.

Real estate has never had a shortage of advice. What it has never had is advice that fits.

Almost everything sold in this industry is sold as one path. One strategy, one system, one story about how somebody made it, packaged as though it will work the same way for you. It usually will not. That strategy was real for the person who ran it. It also belonged to someone with a particular amount of time, money, nerve, and patience, and none of that came with the download.

Rena is the Real Estate Network Association, and it exists because of that gap. We believe there is no best strategy in real estate. There is only the strategy that fits the person. To find it you have to know who you actually are with money, with risk, with other people, and with your own calendar. Most people never get told that part. They get told to hustle harder on a path that was built for somebody else.

We would rather be honest with you than inspiring. That means telling somebody the strategy they are drawn to is the wrong one for them, and being straight about what a thing costs in hours and in nerves. Direction first, then clarity, then action. Action taken in the wrong direction is the most expensive thing in this business.

The forum exists because nobody works this out alone. You can read about a strategy for a year and still miss the thing you actually needed to know, which is usually small, unglamorous, and only ever learned by someone who already did it. So we built a room for all 132 strategies and put the people in them. Somewhere a member tells you what the deal really cost them and what they would do differently, and where you can ask the question you were embarrassed to ask anywhere else.

That is the whole idea. An association, in the older sense of the word: people who are in the same thing together and who get further for being in the room with each other. Everything else we build is in service of that.

We are still early, and we are building this with you. If something here is wrong, or missing, or does not ring true, tell us.

Welcome. We are glad you are here.
