What does the software stack behind a buyer list actually cost?
I've got a proposal in front of me from someone who wants to run disposition for a wholesaler I'm partly funding. Terms are $1,500 a month retainer plus 25% of the spread on anything he sells. The retainer is described as covering "platform, CRM, dialer and blast infrastructure."
Before I sign off on the retainer piece I'd like to know what that infrastructure genuinely costs him. I've seen InvestorLift mentioned, some CRM called REsimpli, Propstream for data, and something Twilio-based for texting. I have no feel for whether that's $200 a month of tooling or $2,000. If it's the low number then the retainer is really just a salary floor dressed up as expenses, which is fine, but I'd rather it be described honestly in the agreement.
What are people actually paying line by line?
