Thought about running a landlord bootcamp for six months and still haven't pulled the trigger
My landlords ask me the same things every winter, mostly around lease renewals and what they can actually charge in a market like ours (mid-size Northeast city, median rent around $1,450 for a two-bed). I started writing it all down back in August, figured I had enough to fill a Saturday, maybe eight hours of content. The problem is I sell listings, I don't teach, and I genuinely don't know if anyone would show up to something I put together versus one of the guys who's been doing this for years with a whole funnel behind them. I've got maybe 40 landlords I talk to regularly, a few dozen more who come through transactions every year, and I know at least a dozen of them would probably pay $300 to sit in a room and get real answers about what's happening with rent control ordinances coming up in Q1. I've just been sitting on it.
