Two viewers want to pay me for my time and I don't know what to say

Charge $150 and send a four question form first. What are you doing now, what's the number you want, what have you already tried, what's the one decision you're stuck on. Read it before the call. That prep is what makes the hour feel worth it, and it takes you fifteen minutes.

Paid in advance, always. Not because people are dishonest. A no-show on a free-until-later hour costs you the whole slot, and prepayment cuts that to almost zero. Send notes afterward, half a page, three things to do next. People remember the notes longer than the call.

Don't promise a result, promise a deliverable. You'll review their situation and give them a written next step. That's a thing you can hand over every single time regardless of how their business goes.

Also raise your number sooner than feels comfortable. I charged $75 an hour for far too long and the clients at $75 were the most demanding I ever had. At $250 people showed up on time with their questions typed out. Same work, different room.
