Split it into what runs every month and what gets bought per listing, because they behave differently.
Monthly, an agent typically carries a design subscription around $15, a CRM somewhere between $30 and $100, an email platform from $30 up depending on list size, and a website in the same range. Those exist whether or not you hire them. If they use a marketing provider to actually produce the work, that's labor on top, commonly a few hundred a month for a solo agent and into four figures for a team.
Per listing, photography is the big one, roughly $150 to $400 for a standard house and more for large or rural properties. A floor plan add-on is often under $100. Video ranges from a few hundred for a walkthrough to a few thousand for anything scripted. A single property website is usually $10 to $50. Print flyers and postcards depend entirely on quantity and mailing.
So the itemized proposal isn't necessarily more expensive. It's showing you the per-listing spend the other agent folded into a sentence. Ask the first agent for the same list with numbers and you can compare.
One thing that catches sellers later: the photographer owns the copyright in the images by default unless the contract assigns it, and MLS rules on how listing photos can be reused vary by MLS. If you expect to reuse the photos yourself, for a rental ad or a later sale, say so before the shoot and get it in writing.
