Pending in four days off nine phone photos, one with a thumb in it

There's a house two streets over from a friend of mine that went up with nine photos, clearly from a phone, held vertical. One of them has a thumb in the corner. The kitchen shot is at knee height for some reason. No drone, no video, no tour.

It went pending in four days over asking, according to my friend who talked to the neighbor.

I'd spent a couple of weeks assuming good photos are what moves a house, and then this. What I think happened is that it was the only three bedroom under a certain number that had come up in that pocket in months, and people were watching for it. When there's one house and eleven buyers, the thumb in the photo doesn't matter.

What I can't tell is what the thumb cost. If two more buyers had seen the house properly, does it clear another 8 thousand? Nobody gets to run that test. The seller got a fast contract and will never know what the other version looked like.
