Rough monthly shape for a small operation: list and property data subscription $100 to $400, skip tracing bought at volume somewhere around 5 to 15 cents per record, a CRM that can route and track leads $100 to $500, and a dialer priced per seat, often $100 to $200 each. Phone scrubbing against do-not-call lists and known litigator lists is usually a few cents per number or a small monthly fee. Prices move and every vendor quotes differently, so get written quotes rather than trusting a range from a forum.
A hit means they returned at least one phone number or email for that record. If a vendor charges 10 cents a record and hits on 60%, your real cost per usable record is closer to 17 cents, so always ask for the hit rate and whether you're billed on attempts or hits.
The part that surprises people building a product here is coverage. Property records come from counties, and roughly a dozen states don't make sale prices public at all, so any tool that ranks leads by equity will be guessing in those states. Some counties are also weeks behind on recording, and a few charge for bulk access. Whoever you're helping should pick two or three states and check coverage directly before designing scoring around a field that's blank in half the country.
None of that stack is the expensive part, by the way. The expensive part is contacting the people, whether that's ad spend or bodies on phones.
