My agent sent me a coordination agreement and I cannot figure out what she is actually responsible for if a deadline slips
She emailed it over as a one-pager and the language says she will "track and remind" but nowhere does it say she owns the deadline if the reminder goes out and nobody acts on it. I am three weeks from closing on a 1970s three bed in Elk Grove Village and I already have a date on the inspection contingency that I am watching like a hawk. If she sends the reminder and my lender ignores it, the agreement as written seems to put the loss on me. I asked her to clarify over email so I had something in writing and she said "don't worry, I stay on top of everything," which is not a clause I can enforce. Wondering if anyone has seen a version of these agreements that actually draws the line somewhere useful, or if the track-and-remind language is just how the whole industry writes them and the coordinator's real protection is that she can show the sent timestamp on the email.
