seller wants to meet in person and i'm 800 miles away with 12 days left on my inspection period
i'm under contract on a sfr in memphis, $94k, closes april 3rd. seller called my wholesaler (i'm buying from an assignor) yesterday and said she wants to sit across from whoever is buying her house before she'll sign anything else. my wholesaler says she's not legally required to meet me and that we can close without her blessing, but she's already told the title company she has questions. i don't know if that means she's cold feet or just scared. i've been in this thing three weeks, $1,500 earnest money down, and i haven't booked a flight yet because i wasn't sure it would pencil. it pencils at $94k if the roof inspection comes back clean, which i still don't have. flying down costs me maybe $400 round trip and two days i'd have to take off work. what i can't price is what happens if i show up and she still doesn't want to close, or if i stay remote and she calls the whole thing off anyway. my wholesaler is saying wait. i'm not sure waiting is the move with 12 days on the clock.
