One deal at a time, or five to pick from?

Still figuring out where to put money and I've been talking to two people who source for out of area buyers. They work completely differently and I want to understand which one I'd actually be better served by before I commit to either.

The first one brings one property at a time. He says he only sends something once he's already talked to the seller and has a price he thinks will hold, and he expects an answer inside 48 hours. His argument is that a curated single deal means he's done the filtering, and a buyer who sees five options at once starts comparing instead of deciding, and then everything dies.

The second one sends a weekly batch, usually four or five, with rough numbers on each and no expectation that I take any of them. Her argument is that I need to see the market to develop judgment about it, and if I only ever see the one thing she picked, I'm buying her opinion rather than a property.

I can see it both ways. The batch approach feels more honest and I'd learn faster. The single deal approach probably gets things closed, and a service that never closes anything isn't a service. First guy's fee is higher per deal, which I assume is priced for the filtering.

What I don't know is whether 48 hours is a reasonable window for someone who's never bought anything or whether it's pressure dressed as process.
