Aerial as its own line, or baked into the media price?
Got a media quote back yesterday on a small flip and it was one number. $625, stills, walkthrough video, aerial, done. The pilot I used before that charged $340 for stills and video and then $185 for aerial on a separate line. Roughly the same money, completely different feeling when I read the invoice.
Case for one flat package: I don't have to decide anything, the pilot doesn't have to re-sell me aerial every single time, and on a house where I would have skipped it I sometimes get a shot that actually sells the block. Fewer emails, faster booking.
Case for the separate line: on a 4,000 square foot lot in a dense neighborhood the aerial is 20 seconds of my roof and somebody's pool, and I'd rather keep the $185. When it's a line item I can see what I'm buying and argue about it.
People selling this service, which way do you price it, and does bundling make you look cheaper in an agent's head or just easier to say yes to? I've got no strong position, I just keep getting quoted both ways and the two invoices feel like different businesses.
How should aerial be priced on a residential listing?
