My whole operation is eleven addresses written on a receipt
Over about three weeks of driving the same four streets on my way home I've written down 11 houses. Tarps, waist-high grass, mail visibly stacked in one door, a code enforcement notice taped to another. I have addresses and nothing else. No names, no phone numbers.
The assessor site gives me an owner name for most of them and a mailing address that's the same as the property on eight of the eleven, which I think means the mail is going nowhere.
The skip trace service everyone mentions is $79 a month. I also don't have a single investor I could send a lead to. I know one guy who flips, we've talked twice, and I have no idea if what I have is worth anything to him.
So do I spend the $79 to turn 11 addresses into 11 phone numbers, or go find a buyer first and possibly discover he doesn't want anything I've got? I keep going back and forth and doing neither, which is the worst option.
