Do you tell a seller the person calling them is a VA overseas?
Been building scripts for the first dialing seat I'm renting and I got stuck on the opening line. The agency gave me a script where the caller uses an American first name and says "I'm calling from the acquisitions team at [my company]." Technically true. Also clearly designed so nobody asks where the caller is sitting.
The case for saying nothing: the seller cares whether you can buy their house, and a VA on my payroll speaking for my company is my team, same as any employee. Nobody announces which state their W2 admin lives in either.
The case for disclosing: half the objections on a cold call come from suspicion, and getting caught mid-call being cagey about it is worse than opening with it. A friend of mine says his answer rate went up when the VA just said where she was calling from and kept going.
I don't have volume yet so I can't test it. What do you actually do, and did you test it or just pick one?
On outbound seller calls, how do you handle where the VA is based?
